I didn’t get much done over the Easter break so I think it would be better to put everything in a single post.
Concept Art
I spent some time over the Easter break trying to finish my art piece. Because I already had most of my model finished, I am creating an art piece based off my original idea. The tricky part for me was painting the Wood Flooring as I had to make sure that it actually looked like wood flooring and not just a random selection of colours.
Using an image as reference, I spent 2-3 hours painting the wood grain texture to make it seem more realistic.
My next task for my art piece is to get the main counter area and the Island Counter finished.
Model Progress
As previously mentioned, I haven’t made much progress with my model over the Easter break. I have spent time cleaning stuff up, finished texturing my model and setting up a basic lighting setup
Final 3 weeks!
For the final 3 weeks at Uni, my main focus will be on making sure everything is up to date and that my final report is ready for submission. So far I feel confident about my final submission and as long as I keep myself focused on what I am doing, I shouldn’t have any trouble with this.
